MARGARET COOPER, MAGPIE MEDICINE CANCELLATION POLICY

Before we begin, please read, and sign this agreement. This agreement discusses the nature of how we will handle cancellations or rescheduling.

CANCELLATIONS 

Our weekly appointment time is reserved specifically for you and will not be offered to anyone else seeking a session. If you decide that you need to cancel a session please contact me 24 hours before at (913) 620-3340 or cancel your session through Acuity (link to cancel can be found in your confirmation email). This means that if you have an appointment at 11:00 am on Tuesday, you would need to cancel by 11:00 am on Monday. This will allow me time to reschedule other clients who could benefit from the availability. If you do not cancel before 24 hours, Magpie Medicine will charge the card we have on file for the full amount due. If you cancel 4 or more hours before your session and reschedule within the same business week (Mon-Sat), you are eligible to pay a rescheduling contribution instead of the full cancellation amount. The rescheduling fee is 50% of your original contribution due at scheduling, with the full session amount due at the time of the rescheduled session. You are responsible for coming to your session on time. If you are late, your appointment will still need to end on time. There is a 15 minute grace period for late arrivals. If you do not arrive before the end of the 15 minute grace period, your session will be considered canceled and the full cancellation contribution will apply. I will do all I can to adjust due to unexpected time constraints if my schedule allows. To honor the cycle of the womb, Maggie reserves the right to cancel any sessions that fall on the first two days of her cycle. As a pillar of our practice, rest is honored during the time of the bleed. In this case specifically, you have 6 hours before your session time to cancel without a late cancellation penalty. Should questions or concerns about this policy arise during our work together, I will answer them thoughtfully and work toward a reasonable solution. True emergency situations that cannot be foreseen can be negotiated (sudden illnesses, accidents, or unpredicted loss of childcare).

I have carefully read and fully understand and agree to allow Magpie Medicine to charge my card on file in the case of a cancellation or reschedule.
